What you will learn

I have broken down prospecting into three pieces.

Prep:

How to prepare for prospecting. This will include both the mental and tactical sides of prospecting. Prospecting can be mentally taxing, believe me, I know. Having the right mindset for prospecting will make a huge difference. On the other side of that, who are you going to reach out to? How do you track your actions and follow ups? What are you going to say? What should I look for in a CRM? These are all questions we will answer in this module.

Prospect:

The heart of the course is the actual prospecting. We will discuss how to create a script, how to find prospects, how to figure out what is working and what isn't.

Pursue:

As the saying goes, the fortune is in the follow up. We will walk through entering data into the CRM, what does good follow up look like, and all of the things that are in keeping engaged with a prospect.

Prospecting Power Hours:

These are where the money lies. You take the time to learn about the what, now we DO! During the prospecting power hours, we will chat about the lesson from the week and then put our plan into action. We will be doing the actual prospecting so that you can have a safe space for the ups and downs, have any questions answered that you may have, and then regroup after.

Hi, I’m Merchon —an educator at heart, entrepreneur by passion, and sales expert by experience.

My journey began in the classroom as a teacher, but took a quick pivot thanks to the 2009 recession. I joined a sales team, became a student of sales, and helped grow a start up for almost a decade. That experience gave me intense experience in growing a successful business, and I’ve since become obsessed with understanding what makes sales work—and how to help others grow their impact through sales.
